Older .50 caliber CVA St. Louis Hawken, 1-66" twist, barrel marked Made in Spain. Delrin ramrod, short starter and a bag of ox yoke .50 wad included.
Beech stock is evenly stained.
Brass on buttplate has been blackened
Breech tang is a little buggered where I tried removing it in my youth.
Clean out screw on drum was buggered up, so I filed it flush.
Grooves in barrel are dark ( see photos). can send more photos if wanted. Would consider a partial trade on a .69 Cal rb mold or lead shot of various sizes. $275 shipped

Barrel is browned and the lock is case hardened, kinda hard to tell in photos. A cleaning patch ran down the barrel doesn't snag. Trying to fund another project, $255 shipped. and I'll throw in a box of PA conicals.

I don't know how I got confused, but it's marked Springfield Hawken not St. Louis.
