I am offering a little flintlock pistol that I named "A Cryin' Shame". It has a 5" barrel with excellent rifling. The lock is a Davis "Becky" that sparks great. Sideplate and trigger guard look very good. The stock is made from curly ash but that really doesn't matter because now we come to the "Cryin' Shame" part. Whoever drilled the ramrod hole did so at an angle and the bit came out of the wood just behind the rearmost thimble. It's not glaring at first glance but it's there. The ramrod has been notched to fit. Then there's the crown of the barrel. It's off-center and needs to be recut. It would be an easy fix if I still owned a metal lathe but I don't. Could the little gun be fired as-is? Yes. Would it be accurate? Probably not. I haven't fired it. For that matter, if you can live with the stock it would work. Still, it's "A Cryin' Shame". I'm asking $250 plus $20 for shipping/insurance. Will be shipped USPS Priority. Also open to trades.
