Jager Kentuckian .44 percussion pistol with box. Made in Italy 1976. Very good condition. Great looking bore. I doubt this one was ever loaded or fired. $250 plus shipping.

Is the maker stamped on the barrel? Who made it?

It is stamped Jager but Im pretty sure they didnt make it. It has the Italian proofs and date code on it, so it was made by an italian firm active in those years. It resembles pedersoli to me, but then kentucky pistols tend to look similar.
Who ever is on the fence here better grab this one. Not many like it.... Excellent shape...... Good price. If not on probation I'd find a way. Fate has kept it available and it's just a pistol. Easier to hide and/or justify.

Still for sale. This Kentuckian is a good quality pistol thats not easy to find. $250 plus shipping
Wish I new what lock would fit it for flintlock. I just turned my 2 frontier to flint and this looks about the same lock.
