@SolidLeadSlug - what are the six short divots in the face of the cylinder that sort of spiral away from the center? (Sorry, I’m tired it’s late and I can’t think how else to describe them.) I’ve never seen that done before. Are those from the factory or some custom alteration, and either way, to what purpose?

Interesting question. I don't know why they are there. They are probably less than 1/32" deep and don't seem to serve a purpose. Nothing in that area seems to have caused them either.

They look perfectly made. Could it have been the clamp when they were machining it or engraving? And somehow got missed on final finishing.
