We did something similar to this a while back and there has been some interest in doing it again so;

4-Corners Plus Shoot

The object of the game is to shoot 4 separate shots, with one as close to each of all 4 of the corners of the target as possible without going off the edge of the target. Then shoot another shot as close to center of the target as possible.

Any traditional, open sighted, muzzleloading long gun or handgun, rifled or smoothbore, firing a single projectile is allowed.
No cannons.

The target is a standard 8.5 x 11" sheet of printer paper.

Distance is 25 yards.

Shots are to be taken off-hand.

One shot in each corner of the target. One shot in the center.

Targets with more than 5 holes will be disqualified.

All shots must be completely on the paper. Targets with shots that break the edge of the paper will be disqualified. If you hit the edge, get another sheet of paper and try again.

Corner shots will be measured from the corner of the target to the center of the hole.
Center shots will be measured from the center of the target to the center of the hole.

Smallest total distance of all 5 shots determines the winner.

Targets that have been mutilated will be disqualified.

Judges decisions are final.

All Muzzleloadingforum members are eligible to participate.

Members screen name must be written on their target.(So we know who won. )

One entry per member.

Multiple targets may be submitted in the same envelope to save postage if more than one member shoots in the same group.

Targets must be postmarked by June 1, 2011 to be eligible.

Targets received after June 10, 2011 will be disqualified.

I did NOT look at the calendar. If those are Sundays, get it done early.

Targets will not be returned unless an S.A.S.E. is included.

Good luck, have fun, and be safe! :hatsoff:

You can use any marker you like but the center of the target will be determined by the judge. :thumbsup:

Sorry I've been slow in posting the winner for this one. My bad. I've been kinda busy with personal and family stuff going on this past couple of weeks... :surrender:

Anyway;
Congrats to danscottgerm, our winner. His 5 shots totaled up to a score of 9.228".
Good shootin'! :hatsoff:

Actually you were the only one who managed to send in a properly shot target.

I got some feedback that it was mighty hard to not break the edge of the paper on at least one of the corner shots. Several just gave up. :haha:
Maybe it was too hard...
