Hello, I recently purchased what I assume is an older Investarm Hawken (Carbine?) in .50 cal with a 23” barrel. The bore is quite pitted and may or may not be fit for use. Does anyone have a replacement or aftermarket barrel in good condition?

Have you tried cleaning up the barrel at all?
I bought a used rifle a while back that had some rust in the barrel, along with some pitting.
I was able to remove all the rust and smoothed out some of the pitting. The barrel still has some pits and it ain't too pretty but it shoots quite well.
In fact, last year I shot a deer with it during the muzzleloader season.

That’s my current project. I’ll try polishing it up within the next couple of days.
