To all,
I hope all is well. First post here but longer reader. I was gifted 800 of these. I'm contemplating getting the adapter to install in my 20 gauge shotgun for shooting the holy black. Would these work okay or do these primers have any other purpose.

Thanks in advance

Those were marketed when the conventional wisdom was that a 410 bore performed better with a 'soft' primer. They haven't made them for a long time.

I say buy the adapter and use them up.

those are a standard sized 209 primer with weaker ignition capabilities. They were intended for .410 shotgun. I’m sure they will work, especially with real bp.
