Congratulations on the hunt.
Tell us about the hunt I am interested I haven't had a chance to go for a speed goat but someday.

Both of those NICE kills look like "a whole bunch of" great BBQ & sausages to me.

Fwiw, a friend of mine sent me about 20 pounds of antelope/pork sausage (that his lady made) last year & it's all G-O-N-E, GONE.

yours, satx

Thanks everyone. I will write a few details about each hunt. Both were "spot & stalk" hunts. 35 yards on the cow as she stood up out of her bed and 100 yards on the antelope after a 1 hour crawl to within 65 yards of the does & fawns. He was 300 yards further, laying down. It seemed like forever but was probably no more than 45 minutes before he got up and joined the does. Slightly quartering towards me, wind howling left to right.....held a bit of wind and he made it 30 yards. Antelope are definetely one of my most favorite animals to hunt. They are typically visible all day, not nocturnal and with a bit of strategy, using terrain and minimal cover, can be stalked to within ML range. You can also choose to sit water or fence crossings if crawling and hands & knees is not your cup of tea. You should try it if you haven't.

Ron, that looks like a very large-bodied buck, as well as a good head. Nice hunting!

I'm down to about 5 LBs of last years elk & my either sex hunt is still six weeks away :(

Honker of a goat  I love that roman nose & the Body fits the horns. A Taxidermist told me a long time ago that he see 6 or 8 great sets of horns for ever brut of a cape. Yours is a brut all around.

Great job!! I was on that cow hunt but I only had one opportunity and it was a little farther than I wanted to shoot on the first shot. But it is clear you got my antelope tag.
