Fellows I picked up a Thompson Center Renegade with the barrel marked "The 1982 World's fair Knoxville, Tenn U.S.A. 966 of 1982". Any information and approximate value would be greatly appreciated. The metal is 98%. The bore is pristine. The stock has surface scratches and one deeper scratch about 3 inches long no cracks or missing chips etc. I would rate it overall at 90%. It has been shot and obviously carried in the field. Naturally it is a percussion rifle.

Ron,
It's nobody's business what you paid! What I want to know is, where did you find the stamp to put on the barrel :rotf:. I have never seen, or heard, of a TC marked like that. Obviously it was a special run made for the event.

was one on gunbroker a while back. don't remember the ammount but it was right pricey.

Hey Mark, Never know what you'll turn up in a pawn shop in Myrtle Beach, SC. Pretty proud of it right now :) but then I haven't shot it. :idunno: :idunno: I guess time will tell???

Just asking about price, because i'm selling a Renegade, and wanted to see if my price was fair.

Papa... :blah:

Capper,
Not a problem here, just sounded a bit nosey. Post it and you will find out soon enough where your price puts it.
Mark :hatsoff:
