I recently acquired some Springfield rifles along with a few reproductions, but I am unable to identify the manufacturer. I was hoping someone out there has the knowledge I lack.
Thanks

The blued one is a 61 Colt special model. From the rear sight I would guess it was the "huntsman" (I believe that was the name) and is it .50 caliber? One is a trapdoor which we don't discuss here. The bright finished one may be a Colt 61. I can't help with the "antique" one. Separate threads for each one with photos might make the task easier and of course more photos of the markings.

Thanks for the info. I thought colt always marked their products.
These are a little west of my interest or knowledge. I am trying to help a friends wife who has to liquidate due to him suffering from dementia.
Should be interesting dealing with gunbroker on these
Thanks again
