When it comes to TC's a '70's gun is worth the same as a 2000's gun and it all depends on condition. Rafterob hit it about right though it have to be a really nice one for me to think it worth that.

Some exceptions to this would be if it was a first year gun with a low 4 digit serial # and case colored triggerguard or if it was a 'Hawken Custom' with blued trim instead of brass and no patchbox or if it was one from the TC custom shop.

Bore condition hugely affects price. That doesn't mean it won't shoot but it's a consideration in pricing. At least drop a bore light in to see condition and better yet use one of those cheap endoscopes to have a look.

If nothing else, run a tight oiled cleaning rag down the barrel. You may feel the loose/tight spots while the jag is going down the barrel. Their quality control wasn't the best during those times. Doesn't mean it will not shoot straight, just means it probably wont. 😊 Had several and only one that would.
