This looks like a fairly easy sewing project. Does anyone have the finished dimensions? I can't tell how large it is supposed to be from the photos. I think the opening is on the left side of the bag as pictured at left.

The smaller bag top right I think is just a smaller stuff sack.

A guy named Chuck Casada used to make these. I wonder if he's gotten out of the hobby. His web site has long since disappeared, and he seems to have dropped out of sight.

At any rate, I'd like to take a crack at copying this mid-18th century French knapsack. If anyone owns one of these, or has made one, let me know.
