Here is a custom handmade late 18th to early 19th century pocket’s knife made by cutler Scott Summerville. Hand forged by the maker from good carbon steel. Handle is made of horn. It is a locking friction folder style where the blade locks open whereupon a lug on the rear of the blade engages with a hole in the backspring. Just lift up on the lock and the blade can be closed as normal.

Would make a superb period correct patch knife for one’s bag, or even a modern EDC with a connection to our period of interest. Knife is brand new recently made and never used. Asking $150 shipped. Thanks!
