looking for an 1851 in decent shooting condition. Everyone wants stupid money for the steel frames now and I don’t want to pay stupid money for a brass frame(I know strengths been debated but I’m not a fan). Does anyone have a .36 full length barrel steel frame 1851 they’d part with for a decent price? “Yank” model preferably. Not too picky about manufacture but I’d take a pietta over Uberti. Thanks!

I’ve been keeping an eye out for them. Not any without crazy prices. And all new ones are out of stock. I got mine back in 2020 at EMF. They were under 300 back then. Plus shipping, and their shipping is not cheap. Good luck on your search…

I remember seeing them hit $250 and thinking that was ridiculous. Now you can’t even have the brassers that cheap

I have one for sale, but I get shouted down and called a scammer when I try to sell it on this site. You can pm me if you want to discuss it.

Midway has .36 Navies by Pietta for $307!

No, I just checked...they are there...well just happened however, the 5 in bbl version is still available. Also still have an Uberti 1861 Navy for $309. None of them will last long at those prices

They’re not showing up for me either. Thank you though
