This is my 16 1/8" ASM. Personally the kid did good without the buttstock. I would have hit the chrono, maybe he did? I couldn't sho IMG_20200607_135818.jpgIMG_20200913_161908.jpgIMG_20200913_162026.jpgIMG_20200913_162046.jpgot it like that without the butt stock or sticks

Personally the kid did good without the buttstock. I would have hit the chrono, maybe he? I can't shoot mine without the butt stock, way to front heavy. Maybe he used sticks? I would have. I wouldn't hit close to what I would want to with out front end help. Had it gone over by Mike at Goons. Added Slix Shot nipples also. Fun shooter. It is a handfull!

That is a nice (and somewhat scarce with that length of barrel) ASM 3rd Model Dragoon with the 3-leaf barrel-mounted rear sight. I am guessing it was manufactured between 1973/XXIX and 1975/AA.

Envious!

Jim

Wow an 18” Walker! Almost sounds like someone is compensating for a very small pistol in their pocket. Lol. Well, I can’t lie, I wish I had one. Yeah, I mean the Walker.

Watched the movie the good, the bad and the ugly Lee Vanclefe took a shot at Clint Eastwood with one of those it had a stock, He missed, neat play thing

what in a very large scabbard on your back?.... 🤣
That's one option...but I've been talking to a local leathersmith, and he thinks he'd like to try making a belt holster for it...I figure when all said and done, I'd have close to $2000.00 invested with the gun, the barrel swap, and custom holster.

Of course, this all depends on how things pan out this year with the current world situation. This isn't set in stone, just a possible addition to my C&B revolver collection. It would be pretty cool though.

That sir is totally awesome! I had a Rem. revolving carbine once (it burned). I didn't like the straight grip of the stock. I've had some experience with unmentionable stocked pistols, but the barrels seemed too short to justify the stock. However, for follow-up shots (to me at least) it makes it more steady, but cumbersome.

Forget the holster all you need is a sling! 😄
