What a grand job you did on this build. The rifle is a beauty and certainly identifies with "tiger stripe" on the stock. And it shoots as good as it looks. Congratulations.
 
That yeller looks more tan in your recent photos. Initial shooting looks great. I hear ya about your charges. A day at the range at 80 grains or even 60 gets old. Let either of those be your hunting load and develop a lighter plinking load. Be thankful your butt stock is't a really pronounced hook.
 
That’s awesome. I keep thinking of trying a kit, but my patience and skills probably wouldn’t have that result!
 
Your rifle is truly stunning. I'm a fan of darker stocks, but the lighter color and browned hardware certainly work on that rifle.

May I ask how you finished the stock. Aqua-Fortis? Boiled Linseed Oil? I think I'd like to try it on something I'm working on.
