    New Toy - any info appreciated

    Just acquired a Green River Forge trade gun. 36 inch 50 cal. barrel and a twist that looks to be somewhere between 1:60 and 1:72. Really pretty rifle; nice wood, nice bronzy browning, oct-to-round barrel. Looks unfired. Got a really good deal because the dealer thought it was a Dixie import...
