    strengthening for better shooting

Rotator tearing isn't fun and the surgery less so. I've had both shoulders done twice. I was told if I don't baby/not overwork them they would probably tear again and they won't be able to fix them. I've got 3 screws in both shoulders holding the muscles to the bone. The physical therapist I...

    "Toy" horn for my son.

I like the simplicity of it. Looks good! Most important it will survive the years with him and one day he will be telling his son's "your Grandpa made this for me" when I was your age. :) Good job!

    Camp Stove

Here is a brazier I made a couple of years ago. Actually forgot I had it. I dug it out and took a couple of pictures of it. Need to clean it up and paint it. It is made of steal plate, I think about 3/16" and some 1" angle iron. It is held together with bolts that I meant to/need to use a...

My Second MZ Win: A Scrubber!

Lead from a car battery is a lot harder than regular (pure) lead. Everything says to use the softer lead in a muzzleloader but shooting an animal that size with a muzzleloader, you would probably want a harder lead roundball/projectile to get the best penetration. At least would seem so.

Lead ball casting questions from a beginner?

I also use the bottom drain Lee pot. When it gets the drips or won't shut off, I use a carefully bent paper clip and work it carefully inside the spout to clean out the dross or whatever is causing it to not seal. Usually works for a while then I have to repeat the process.

made a little alteration to my flask today

Good Job .....my only concern is that if you are doing a lot of walking, the lid with the spout or the bottom with your mod could possibly come loose from all the bouncing around. You could lose some or all of your powder if you didn't notice it.

    Let's Spice It Up

Sriracha is used on just about everything I eat and cook. Noodles and rice really have more flavor is a little Sriracha sauce is put in the water. :stir: I put it on hotdogs, really adds to the taste. Not hot if you use a small amount but I use enough to add a little spice to the food...

    Hawken won't fire?

Hey mtmanjim, I don't think any disrespect was intended about the 70's remark. :v Mostly sarcastic humor which we see a lot of on here. :surrender: Everyone is friendly and usually don't take any offense from it. If someone digs at me, they are leaving someone else alone and I don't let it...

    Hawken won't fire?

Possibly wouldn't say a 22 caliber brass cleaning brush screwed into the cleaning rod be small enough to get into it to snag the patch?
