    Finally got around to aging the grips. I played around with several dyes and such before settling on a dark brown leather dye diluted 25% with alcohol. After rubbing back with some really coarse paper towels I think they turned out ok.

    Peaned.... auto correct strikes again....lol. Took a small ball pean hammer and tapped a lot of the lettering in place. It pushes a lot of the metal back into the letters.

    Got a wild hair and decided to get rid of the Pietta markings and age a couple revolvers. Peaked the lettering then filed/ sanded the barrel markings. Left serial numbers intact.
