    When did the Pennsylvania Hunter change from Octagon/round barrel to just a octagon barrel??

    T.C. Barrel I.D.

    I have a Thompson .50 Hawken, serial num. 24xxx. The bottom of the barrel has an iron cross mark. The groves are different than all my other 1:48 T.C hawkens (my barrel grove cleaner/scraper will not line up).The barrel does say Thompson center fire arms. Is this a barrel made for T.C. if so...
