    TC Patriot set trigger adjustment?

Does Thompson Center still do repair work on Patriot Pistols? I just picked one up and the set trigger will not release the hammer. I tried turning the adjustment screw with no luck. Or is there some special way you have to adjust that screw?

Old firearms museum in Strasburg Pa

The museum you're talking about isn't there any more. The gentleman who owned it passed away about 8 or 10 years ago. The entire collection was sold at auction.

    Civil War Auction

I posted this item in Civil War by mistake and it was moved to here. So I deleted it from Civil War only to find I had lost it both places. Anyway, the big auction was held yesterday at Gettysburg. Some of the highlights included Grant's presentation sword at $1,673,000, Custer's battle flag...

    Steel parts for TC?

I'm sure I read it somewhere on the forum but I can't seem to find it. Where's the best place to buy steel parts to replace all the brass on a TC? Can you get a steel cap box too? Will the parts fit without alot of work? Thanks guys.

    "Patriot Battles"

I just picked up this book. It came out a month or so ago. It's by Michael Stephenson. I've read about half of it and really enjoyed it so far. The first half covers such things as: The Militia, The Continentals, Britain's German Auxiliaries, Loyalists, The Officer Class, What made Men Fight...

    inexpensive small bore light

Her's the best light I've found. I got it at Dixon's a few years ago. If you take the pocket clip off it measures .250. It comes with two extra batteries too. I gave $15 for it. The maker is, Coast Products, PO Box 5821, Portland, OR 97228. They have a web site, it's www.coastcutlery.com

A few things I've made lately

The wood is from a regular white pine 1 by 4. I may try some other stuff made from horns. I don't need any more powder horns.

A few things I've made lately

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, keeping the hand stitching straight is the hardest part, at least for me it is. You have to really watch when you lay the marks out, I used an old set of dividers to make a faint line along the edge and then I set it for how far apart I wanted the stitches...
