    Uberti Remington

    Cap maker

    I found 2 tins of #11 caps. Almost had a spasm, $24+ per tin! I could have bought a cap maker for that price. Can you use roll caps with the Tap O Cap, rather then buying their priming compound?

    smooth rifle vs trade gun

    I have noticed people saying that the stocks on smooth rifles are not as well shaped as a trade gun for shooting small game, rabbits & birds. |Trade gun shooters have no trouble shooting their trade guns like a rifle. As I can only afford one gun this is why I chose a trade gun.

    Jacobsburg Stats Park PA

    Thid coming weekend there is a small rendezvous at Jacobsburg State park right off of the Belfast exit of PA Rt 33. They have the original Nickolas Hawk Gunsmith shop plus the Henry museum. Sat. 10 AM to 4PM, I think Sun is 12 to 4. Will be taking my grandkids.

    Why do we go through so many processes to clean our firearms? I am not a historian nor do I study history as deeply as some. From what I have read most firearms were cleaned with tow and water, and some have lasted over 200 years.
