Need help with ballsize for my .50 cal. Hawken. Was at a gun show on the weekend and picked up some .495 round balls witch i shoot all the time in my Hawken. When i got home i noticed one box was marked .500 so i am wanting to know if it would be ok to shoot these balls with a very thin patch...

Been sitting on the side line for about two years now and thought it would be polite and step up to your fire and say hello. Have a T/C 50 cal. Hawken that doesn't get used near enough. Great to be hear. jake
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
6 tsp baking powder
Just enough water to make ingredients stick together
Melt 1/4-1/2 inch lard in pan, cook over medium heat, brown both sides
Very good with stew, or eaten hot with your choice of spread.
