    Dec' '15 Indiana Trip

A little late but here goes. I did my annual Indiana trip again this past year and got lucky. I'd taken hogs and does with my flinters but a good buck always eluded me. Not any more. I heard about this buck from a local friend who told me right where he'd be and sure enough he was there. He...

    Got my newest rifle today

Well, Ol' Supercracker finshed my rifle and I went to get it today. It's a Chambers Penn Fowler stock with a .54 46" Long Hammock round bottom rifled barrel. Here's a video. Click on it to see it. He treated me right. When I went to get it, we shot on his private range, he made the sight...

    Star Trek Flintlock Episode

Link This episode deals with a primitive tribe at the farthest reaches of space who are dealing with the acquisition of Flintlock muzzleloaders by their enemies...LOL!!! The locks are very odd looking when you finally get to see one up close but other than that the guns look alright.

So I was wondering what Mark Baker's book was going for these days and came across this as my first hit on a Google search: Link WOW! Last a checked they were a few hundred dollars. I'm glad I got mine waaaay back when for whatever the original price was. $70 or so I think. Good book though!

St Augustine, FL- Colonial Quarter open again!

I know it's not really an event but the Colonial Quarter is finally open again! It's not the old Spanish Quarter and it's under new management but from my few experiences with the nearby Pirate Museum run by the same folks, this should be just as good as the old Spanish Quarter was. I just hope...

    I quit drinking...

So I had to find something to keep me busy in the evenings. I picked a side of leather and made up a couple cow's knees and ball bags. I'll be making more when I get some more necks. I did an ugly cloth one too just because I saw some originals in a book that were cloth....but they...

Supercracker and I finished the TOTW kit I started back earlier in the year. This is a gift for a good friend of mine that I delivered last weekend. I learned a lot, and while it isn't 100% HC and there's plenty of imperfections, I'm damn proud of what we accomplished. I want to thank...
