    need a new front sight

    both eyes open

    I shoot a 54cal Lancaster, and these flints make me flinch alot. the other day I started to practice shooting with both eyes open I seem to flinch less and after the shot I`m still on target. do many of you guys shoot both eyes open and if so do you shoot any better.

    I`m a sucker for a nice powder horn, and I got to wondering why that most of the time when someone shows us their horn or has one for sale there always died some sort yellow and brown weren`t any just left natural. If you to want add age to your horn why not just use it.

    What do you guys who deer hunt with your smoothbores use for loads. I have a 62 tulle that I`m going to hunt with this year, shots will be no more than 50yds.for targets I use 65grs. 2f and a 600 patch rb.

    520 round balls

    A friend of mine just got a 54 smoothie and the only ball that he can get down the barrel with a patch is a 520. he can buy them at TOTW but would like to cast his own.anybody know where to get such a mold. Is there anyone else who cast and sells rb at a fair price
