    Colonial Musket

Recently acquired a specimen. It has a problem with its lockwork, particularly the piece which connects the trigger, hammer and mainspring. Is there a source for good drawings or photos? Thanks.

    Combination gun restoration

Just acquired a German side by side combination gun, right barrel rifled, left barrel smooth, made in Lubben, SE of Berlin. Fairly typical German styling. The gun needs some TLC. Both hammers are missing. Anyone know where a pair of European styled hammers with 1 3/4" throw could be obtained?

    Minie ball diameter?

Don't have any examples on hand to measure. What is the actual diameter of typical Minie bullets for .58 rifled muskets? Thanks.
