How to dress up a wall

Nice wall Swampy! German politicians would get a heart attack seeing this. :haha: Even the ammo underneath would be enough to loose permission for a lifetime here when you get controlled. :shake: And they got the permission to enter and check the house if you are a registered...

    Add powder for distance..or not

Well, at the range I´m usually shooting at a 50 meters distance. 65grs work well in my Pedersoli Hawken. I tried the 100 meter range and switched to 95grs, having in mind that someone used to mention this as an accurate hunting load. I was lucky. With the higher load I can hold center...

    100yrd accuracy

My experience with my Pedersoli Hawken (.54) and roundballs. I usually shoot at 50 meters - a little more than 50 yards. With 10 shots I´m normally around 90-92 rings from 100 possible rings. 65grs of FF and .530 roundballs. For my first try at 100 meters distance I went with 95 grains FF. And...

    underhammer flintlock

I dunno what happened to my post. :idunno: I already answered you. Anyway, here is again a picture showing you a flintlock underhammer pistol. Those were made in a small series by a German builder. According to a test in a gun magazine they worked very well. I guess the problem for the system...

    flintlock enegery

I don´t know who made that statement. But the minimum energy for roes, red deer and hogs in the German hunting laws are a problem for the German ML-hunters. They are not accepted by many hunters because the law requires a minimum of 2000 Joule for red deer and hogs. And 1000 for roes...

    Is this possibly a joke?

He bought this sight. And also a tunnel-frontsight. Installed all at once and then asked in the forum about how to sight the rifle in now. :hmm: And if it could be possible that the vernier is too high up.. :idunno: He got a few good tips and one wasn´t thinking much, he answered: You need to...

    The "OFF HAND" underhammer

Unfortunatly not. :( Got moulds for both sizes. None of them works as well as the .340s now do.

I was able to catch a few .340 roundballs in an auction. Tried them today. Now I´m on the right track...  Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

    The "OFF HAND" underhammer

Thanks Tinker2! Thanks a lot! :hatsoff: I didn´t know so far that those molds exist. :surrender: I´ll keep my eyes open for one. If anyone should see one of these molds - please be so kind to tell me about it in a PT!! 70grs is much more than I would have expected...

    The "OFF HAND" underhammer

I got a .36 too. Any ideas on where to get a mold for a .340 ball? I got .350 and .330 - both don´t seem perfect to me. Didn´t get as good results so far as I was hoping to. The .340 might be the right one. :hmm: How much powder do you guys load in your .36 underhammers?

    CO2 UNLOADER

Well, I looked around too. And came to the conclusion that the ones sold here in Germany - mainly from Pedersoli - aren´t what I´m looking for. A fellow forum member now ordered me one from Cabelas and will then send it to me. The flintlock solution this CO2 unloader has seems the...
