Arbor Problem?
I really like osage particularly after I located a fellow that was selling billets cut on a Southern military base that had late wood rings from1/8 to 1/4 in. Uberti Walker disassembly

Can I use lead shot in a Cold Walker?
It is entirely possible. Cut you powder charge to 20gr seat a .451 copper gas check over the powder with cup facing out, load #9 shot to just below the mouth of the chamber then seat another gas check cup facing down over the shot use a little pressure and the gas check will expand to seal the... -

Touch hole liner conundrum
Get a breech face scraper and reduce its size a small amount to clear the liner. Use that to scrape the breech face then use a wad of tow around a worm to finish the job. You will also find that a wad of tow on a worm will clean a barrel better than a patch on a jag for the entire job.- denster

That was hard to walk way form!!
My brother and I set up in that building. I know the gun you are writing about. I have looked at it the last couple of shows he has had it for awhile. A little rough externaly but good bores. He is a good guy to deal with I may have to talk him out of it next show.- denster

Pedersoli woes....
It would be interesting to hear what exactly Lee had to do to correct the malfunction. A strange problem indeed when the lock would drop with the trigger set too light but no drop with it set heavier considering that either way the arm tripping the sear is striking it with the same force either way. -
