    I enjoy carving canoe paddles and painting them with either documented fur trade designs or coming up with my own. I usually use ash or maple. Anyone else make paddles? Here are a couple I've made.

    parts set with hooked breech

    I would like to build a percussion gun that is on the lighter side and has a hooked breech. Besides the parts sets and kits based on Hawken rifles, are there any out there? Thanks, Mark
