    SOLD Embroidered Possible Bag

I have one of Jim Web's bags and it looks very similar to mine. Grew up in Grayson county and see Jim and his wife about once or twice a year. I too have seen the animals come up to the back door looking for their grahm crackers. Someone should be very proud to have that bag.

    Wet Weather Hunting

I use deer tallow as a seal around my frizzen. My builder was also very careful to get everything fitted as close as possible. But I also keep my lyman's great plains percussion handy. Take the primer powder out of my bag and put in some caps.

    Misfire

Had a friend had almost the exact problem you had. After we finally got it to fire no more problems. We think the bore butter he had used had dried up near the breach and even though he ran a couple of patches through it before loading it still didn't clear it. May not be your problem but when...

Red residue at muzzle after shooting

I've always heard them called Rubies. Some claim if you've got your load right you'll get them. Seems I get them when the humidity is a little lower.

    Southeastern Primitive Rondy

Adkarcher Welcome to the area. I'm just down 421 off of Peace Haven road. I believe that you have to be a rondezvous participant to compete or shoot at the ranges, but there are some public days where the general public can visit and check out what the vendors have to offer. Google...

I have talked to Jeannine a few times. She is very competitive. And she is a wonderful lady with a great sense of humor.-- It takes a good sense of humor to hang around with the nappy headed hillbilly :v H.Hale

    RB casting question(s)

I have never needed a stick or mallet to cut the sprue in my lee molds. I have run thousands of lead balls from .440 to .60. Even if I let the mold sit for several minutes all it takes is a good leather(not synthetic)glove to push the sprue cutter and cut off the sprue. You may want to try it...

    GPR brass ramrod slipping

bobman I had the same problem when I put a brass ramrod on my GPR. If you have access to a lathe you can mark the spot where the clip hits the ramrod. Put it in the lathe and make a small ring in the rod where the clip hits the rod. Worked for me. H.Hale
