    Free Throwing Blocks

Man I could use one. Moved to Ohio a while back and haven't been able to find one. In Va. big ole pine logs were easy to come by. If gas wasn't so high I'd take you up on it. Knife and hawks are just colecting dust and rust. Thanks Anyway, TC

    Minnie ball casting

Do you smoke the inside of the mould? I used to use a candle and blacken the entire inside. It seemed to help the lead flow better. Your mold also needs to be HOT. Like cast 3 or 4 minies as scrap just to heat it up. TC

    anybody else's season this short?

I am wondering why bow season is so long, is it because there are not many bow hunters? And the thinking is they won't kill many deer.

    Deer liver and heart?

I too carry a plastic bag just for the heart and liver. Once home I slice it up soak it in milk and change it once. Then it gets rolled in flour with salt an pepper and fried in bacon grease, that onions have been cooked in, it is great. Ya gotta try it.
