Apply wax in barrel channel?
I’m in the process of staining my Woodsrunner stock. I understand that no iron nitrates no stain, etc goes in the barrel channel, but what about my last step, being the wax? I've screwed up....
Through sheer talent and natural brilliance I managed to break off a cleaning jag, with cleaning patch, in the barrel of a Traditions Woodsman 50 cal. It snapped off at the threaded stem while attached to a range rod. I wasn't even surprised; I just jotted this down on the long list of things...- Xenophon

Please help a neophyte! I'm assembling my Kibler Woodsrunner kit and am starting to think about the barrel and what color I'd like to do it. Honestly, I like the look of just leaving it in the white.
