    Welcome! Where did you find your handgonnes? I’m also in Nc I’ve been looking for one for a little bit can’t find any makers. I bought some round stock 4140 1-1/8” diameter and 1 foot long I figure I’ll try to find a machinist who can bore it out for me

    What kind of steel did you use? I have a 12” long piece of 1-1/8” diameter 4140 round stock I’m wanting to take to a machinist to have it drilled and bored to make a Handgonne in 75 caliber

    I would be willing to do it. I tig weld for a living mostly stainless but that should be a pretty easy fix if it’s just carbon steel. Does anyone know what it’s made of? Is it hardened?
