SOLD LH TVM .62 cal caplock

Hi All- I wanted to post the instructions TVM gave me to fix the barrel lug (I just don't want to fool with it myself, lol). Thanks: Hi Daniel, It appears that the front lug is not attached to the barrel. Are you able to solder it back in place? I have attached a picture of the solder and...

Expected accuracy with 62 caliber smoothbore?

Just wanted to get the take with some of the experienced members here. Assuming I get the ball and patch combo right, can I expect it to be accurate out to 60 yards, at least for deer-sized game?

    Smoothbore roundball

Hello- I am very interested in getting a muzzleloader fowler gun-specifically the smoothbore 20 gauge/62 caliber. My question is, on a very popular Youtube channel, they used a 590 roundball for a muzzleloader of this bore size-wouldn't they need to use a 610 or 615 ball or am I missing something?

Round ball and 50 grains in a 50 cal. for whitetail ?

Is this a FFg vs. FFFg issue, i.e. the triple F would be more potent so 50 grains would be enough?

    deer season started yesterday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just curious, why is it so long? Are there an abundance of deer, or just a lack of hunters?

    Percussion cap availability

I'm new here, and I've seen a few posts saying "CCI No. 11 caps available here!" or something to that effect. Are there percussion cap shortages currently (still)?

    Pyrodex in Matchlock

I find this matchlock stuff fascinating. Is this the kind of weapon the Pilgrims used in 1620, or were flintlocks around by then?

    Hello

Just posted in the firearms/rifle thread. I've been interested in muzzleloaders (and BP!) for a long time, but I've had trouble finding a muzzleloader I like, especially as a lefty. Anyways, hello!

    TVM style muzzleloaders

I really really like the look of the Tennessee Valley Muzzleloaders- especially the Late Lancaster. For a lefty like me, it seems that the only option for getting those really long barreled muzzleloaders is TVM. They still have 15 MONTH wait to build, just like they did a year ago. I reached out...
