Pawnshop find , what is it ??

I'm surprised that a rifle that cost that much doesn't have the makers name on it .

Pawnshop find , what is it ??

Pawnshop find , what is it ??

Date code on mine comes back to 1986 . The metal is mostly browned . Barrel is in excellent condition. Shot it yesterday with 60 grains of my homemade black powder . Felt like a very light load and accuracy was only fair . I will try it again with a heavier charge when I get time. FBC

Pawnshop find , what is it ??

They had it setting in the rack next to a TC renegade for 300 something dollars . When I seen the $150 price tag I didn't hesitate to walk back to the truck and get my wallet.

Pawnshop find , what is it ??

Picked up this Muzzleloader yesterday at a pawnshop. They had no idea what it was. My Research makes me think it is the Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Maple Hawken in 54 caliber. Three little symbols under the stock, one is the date code for 1986. The other one looks like PN , I cannot make out...

    Fixable or not?

Had my uncle pickup what I think is a .45 senaca . Seller broke the nipple off and then used a hand drill to try and get the base out. I really wanted it for the stock but would be nice if I could fix the nipple hole . Will be a month or so before I can get it picked up . What do you guys...

    Hawken for bad eyes

I bought a renegade that that had a factory TC peep sight installed and can shoot it good . I was having trouble seeing the regular sights on my muzzleloaders. Took a deer at 105 steps with the peep sight. FBC

    Scope mount hole fix

I would fix this at home and shoot it . a screw the right length coated with jb weld and installed would be my way. If it didn't hold then I would look to a gunsmith . just my two cents . FBC

    Renegade Doe Christmas hunt

Got this doe today at 105 steps with homemade black powder and a hornady Great Plains bullet . I was shooting my .50 renegade with a TC peepsight.
