    solvent question?

    What is the solvent used for Laurel MT stock finish and Casey's True oil??? I buy this stuff and use it once and it solidifies to a tough gel by the next time I need to use it again.I tried MEK but that evaporates too quick....

    T/C buy

    Was this a good price? A friend just bought a T/C paying $125 for it. The seller threw in a pound of powder, two boxes of swedged 50 cal ball and two boxes of caps...That would bring the cost of the T/C to about $80 something...Needed some clean ing in the breech area...not too bad.... deal???

    Old scrap iron to the range

    Took my latest build to the range and it worked almost perfect 'cept for two minor things..The flint un-screwed after about ten shots and it got too much fouling in the groove for the wheel cover but that didn't interfere with the rest of the gun functioining...Now I can get going on a matchlock...
