    The village of Hamburg, (pop. about 90 people full time residents) Calhoun County is where I hang my hat. I know Berry well, went to a few of their gun shows, I'll check on the BP groups, would be nice.

    Also check the feathers. Eagles and their parts are protected. If real the whole piece could be confiscated and you fined and or jailed. I know from experience.

    This rifle was found in central Illinois. I'm thinking it could be a poor boy. Looks to me like salvaged barrel, lock & triggers. Newly made stock (walnut) trigger guard & but plate (steel). Barrel is 34", 36 cal. at least refreshed if not re-bored (looks like new bore), overall length is 50"...
