    Lyman Great Plains Hunter question.

    I have one of those i bought new several years ago shot if a lot off the bench using the GP Bullet and triple 7 had no trouble getting 3" groups at 150 yards,but never killed a deer always used my RB guns because they are all lighter to carry.

    Now that is real hunting congrats! I like to still hunt like that may not get as many shots but when you you do it is so special such a great moment! Oh nice gun and a good shot,most i have killed with any type rifle has been near that range.
