    Purchased a Parker-Hale 1853 Enfield today

    I picked up a nice Parker Hale 1853 3 band Enfield today. In really nice condition, a safe queen. He told me he bought it in 1977 from Dixie gun works. The serial number is 4176. I'm a happy camper right now.

    Made it to the range.

    First time to the range this year. I thought it would be a wash out after the weather that came thru last evening. Our friends in Tangipahoa Parish took the beating from it. The range was soaked but we managed. I shot the 1862 Richmond with much satisfaction. I have the correct size minie now...
