    I have a CVA Mountain Rifle stock and some parts. I kinda jumped the gun on buying a cap lock from L&R. Now I am thinking flintlock. Probably put a 36 inch 58 cal on it. The stock is a one inch channel. Change out the butt plate. I know when its done it will still be a CVA in most eyes. But...

    Vinegar & Steel wool stain

    Anyone here ever try it on curly maple? I thought about mixing up some tannic aid powder and brushing that on and letting dry. Then brushing on the vinegar , steel wool. If anyone here has used it on maple stock can you please show photos?

    Man cave!!

    Usually, but this trip is not much. Need to pick up our 16ft boat in Valdez and stage it for return Ferry run in August. I will do a little shopping at 3 bears. Then HD and or lowes.

    Cherry stock Kibler SMR

    Tried and True oil. With a hint of red stain. But to be clear I am not complaining. She is pretty!!!
