    Alcan G 12 F caps

    I just found a tin of Alcan G 12 F caps which I probably purchased 40 or so years ago. Were they a good cap? Or should I not use then? The tin looks almost full and in good shape. Any info would be appreciated.

    First shot with my new Trapper👍

    Loaded with about 28 g 3f powder and a 3/4 full primer of same powder and a.490 Hornady prb. I’m using a 5/8 flint set with a gap of about 1/16-inch clearance. To my surprise I just heard one loud boom. No delay that I could tell. So far I’m a happy camper ! Later I’ll check and see how...

    Pietta Navy 36 cal wedge ?

    I have just got a new Navy and the wedge is sticking out a bunch on the left side of the frame and only just comes to the edge of the right side of the frame. Just looks odd.     My almost twins

    Just took my TC .45 out of the safe today to compare to my new Trapper. Really like both and will keep the together now. Just different but somewhat similar 😇

    Two new pistols!

    Last Friday I ordered a PA Derringer and a flintlock Kentucky pistol and both arrived today. Hard to beat the service from The Gun Works out in OR! Both look great as far as detail and fit and finish. Will try some photos later. Just wanted to share.

    I made a peep sight for my H&A 32 cal rifle.

    I could not find an original peep sight any where so I took some brass stock and made this one. Different size washers can be used to get the proper sight view.

    P. Bondini Schuetzen rifle?

    i have a P. Bondini Schuetzen rifle in .45 caliber with a reverse action. The hammer is facing the back and not the front of the rifle. Just wondering when it was made? It's a fairly fancy rifle. Thanks in advance for any info!
