not shooting
Central Texas oos dry. All the spring rain we had made plenty of grass. Now it is too dry to shoot my black powder guns. A single smoldering patch or wad and the whole community would go up in smoke. I will have to wait for rain, but will be watching what goes on here. Not making smoke Bunk -

short and soft firing cones

Realizing this is NOT a patch and ball muzzle loader it is a percussion carbine but uses real black Gunpowder and pure lead bullet. Is anyone here shooting one and do you have experience with it? do a little searching online because along with others Graf's has powder in several brands and granulation at a reasonable price. Look at American Pioneer Powder under different labels. It is good in percussion guns and is classified the same as smokessomewhatless powder not an explosive...- Bunk

I poached this from the Majormusket web site. Personally I would have worn a face shield and gloves because this is kind of sketchy, but to each his own.
