    .36 Caliber Fans?

I need to check current Arkansas regs. I believe it used to be 40. The only thing I've hunted deer with for the past 50 years is a 62 cal. I've been lucky no to spoil meat as my shots have been through the rig cage, through the heart and lungs, and out the other set of ribs!

    Best common household lubricant?

My washing machine has a pre soak mode. I let the ticking soak in hot water before the actual wash.

    Best common household lubricant?

Do you use ticking straight form the bolt, or do you wash out the sizing first?

    Patch material for rifle ball

I have used pillow ticking, denim, and linen. All materials are from the fabric store. Always wash new fabric twice to remove the sizing.

    Bacon Grease

I make cornbread using bacon grease. It's also great in greens. Milk gravy for biscuits.
