SOLD Thompson Center Renegade .50 Caliber Percussion

I bought a new Renegade .54 cal. flintlock when I lived in south TX back in 1980. I got it from Woolco when they were going out of business for fifty bucks! I've killed many deer with that gun. Had to install a peep sight on it a couple years back. Now I can see how to shoot again! Makes a world...

    Navy Arms Pietta double Barrel

I just acquired one of those shotguns about three weeks ago form an old friend. He bought it new in 78. It's in super fine condition. Have not shot it since 78. Got it loaded with sixes in the right barrel and buckshot in the left. Thought I'd get lucky on a deer, but doesn't look like that will...

    Need help

Do you know Joe Namath? That was his high school. Very cool! I'm located at Lake Anna, VA and I never heard of a custom smokepole shop. I wonder where the nearest one is? I bought stuff back in 78 from a place called the Powder Horn in San Antonio, TX. Lots of time ago...

    Navy Arms Pietta double Barrel

Sorry. I just finished reading the entire thread and got my answer. Is it necessary to take the locks out of the gun for cleaning? Is it just the one screw behind the hammer that holds both locks? Are there pics online of a disassembly of the Pietta sxs? Thanks...Ed.

    Navy Arms Pietta double Barrel

How did you go about converting the Pietta to a flintlock? I just acquired one and would be interested to know. Did you do the work yourself? Who has the parts? Thanks...Ed.

    Wet Weather Hunting

" If you could find a weather proof poncho, that would cover up your rifle and keep you warm.." That's what I use in rainy weather. I also have the wool inter liner too, which makes it toasty. Check the prime often. I keep the gun covered unless I get a shot. I also have a one legged Nifty Seat...

My Pedersoli Classic Side By Side Patterns

My friend bought one of these shotguns in 1978. He got it from a place called Gasman's Archery in San Antonio, TX for two hundred bucks. We were in the USAF, both as Marksmanship Instructors assigned to the Medina Annex where the firing ranges were located. We didn't have any wads and probably...
