    SOLD 36 cal TC Seneca

    $650 plus shipping would do.

    SOLD 36 cal TC Seneca

Am I asking too much here folks? I thought this was a price that would sell quickly, trying to raise money to help with some medical bills.

    SOLD 36 cal TC Seneca

Overall excellent condition except for the areas in the photos and the missing barrel wedge. I'll send a replacement Ted Cash color case hardened steel one that you will need to fit. Also included is the TC mold that makes RBs and REAL conical bullets. I don't have a bore light and the pictures...

They also make their own drop-ins. In the white without sights or ramrod is $350.

    Bobby Hoyt barrel work

He's about to get a pitted 50 barrel for my Ranson that I want sleeved to 40 and RB twist. Honestly he can take all the time he wants on it.

    Hopkin & Allen Underhammers

I really want one. I think the fast lock time would make one heck of a good woods walk rifle. Tempted to buy the parts kit and machine my own receiver. Maybe do it using a Renegade barrel since they seem to sell cheap on eBay.

    Nipple bore diameter.

I've been thumping the butt when I load and it's on half cock. I'll try tapping the lock area next. It's been very rainy here lately so not much shooting going on unfortunately.

    Nipple bore diameter.

I've had an automotive scope down it, that's how I found it's quite pitted on the breach end. Can't see around corners with that though. Maybe I'll see if I can get the clean out screw free.
  11. G

    Nipple bore diameter.

Pipe cleaner runs into the bore no problem and nipple has the same threaded length as the breach as close as I can measure. This rifle is rough near the breach end so it might be holding moisture in those pits. I'll run some isopropyl and a dry patch before shooting next time (usually just dry...

A smoothbore flinter is in the future, but probably a ways out.

    Nipple bore diameter.

It's clear, pick just barely clears the sides though.
  14. G

    Nipple bore diameter.

I'm confident that the channel is clear since I was able to pass a pipe cleaner through it. I haven't tried removing the clean out screw on this breach yet, it's a tiny setscrew that I don't want to strip. Using Goex 2F and switching to 3F once that jug is gone. PRB .490 with a 0.12 patch using...

    Nipple bore diameter.

I have an older Investarms Ransom .50 which was my first BP. The nipple that came on it was worn out, blowing back to half cock with a pretty mild charge and the accuracy left much to be desired. Changed for a new Ox-yoke stainless, groups much improved (1-1.5" at 50) but ignition is...

Depending on the gun there might be a carbine version available. Lots of TCs for example.

Switch barrel guns are appealing to my thrifty Scottish nature and underhammers or Hawken style guns seem to work well for that. Currently thinking about trying to make a mule ear in the machine shop.

Looks like I'll likely be doing a temporary posting there for a few years. Hoping to find a good crowd to shoot with and visit a few of your rendezvous.
