    Sight Question

I have a Thompson Center Hawken 50 and I installed a Lyman 57Sml Peep rear sight on it. I need to do something with the original rear sight and was thinking if I could find a Pop-Up sight that would lay fairly flat on the barrel top would be great and cover the screws. That way I could utilize...

    Musket nipple conversion

I have an older Great Plains 50 Caliber built in 1982, I recently tried a Musket Nipple on it and discovered the Hammer wouldn't land over the nipple. The edge of the hammer head contacted the cap and it won't land squarely. So it was a waste of money for musket caps and nipple in my case, so...

    RWS no 11s

I have cap punch and use Prime-All, I had several hundred empty I punched out a year ago. Took me about an hour to mix and fill 60 caps, I figure by the time I drove 60 miles to and from the muzzleloader supply and paid $16.99 for a tin I came out ok (just saying)

    Cracked Stock Question

Just to clarify, do you heat the glue to the consistency of water then pour it into the stock. Or heat the stock once the glue is in it to water consistency.

    Cracked Stock Question

I wasn’t referring to the Crack in the Stock in that response. I’m just Bummed out due to the many-many hours I spent fitting sanding and finishing to wind up with a junk stock. Had I been up too speed on understanding the grain problem I could have saved myself all those hours of wasted labor...
