    Browned the barrel and tang for the Traditions Flint Woodsman I'm building, then found out they shorted me a lock screw. Sent them an email to see if they can send me one. manure, I was just about ready to put it together.......

    Home Made Percussion Caps Review

    Instead of a funnel, I made a scoop out of a coffee stir straw - the tiny stir sticks at the gas station - Cut a short piece, fold it over, and grip it with a pair of hemostats. I'll post a pic later.

    Love to see pics of how you did that. I have the same issue with my Kentucky. I've been trying to find a new trigger for it. Really wish I'd bought a different gun - That's how much I don't like the trigger.

    Great advice, thanks. I too am taking the leap to flint, and just started working on a traditions kit. Fitting the parts to the stock, then will get a finish on the stock, and on to browning the barrel, and thinking about darkening the brass.
