    Should have done more research on original horns. I already had one I inherited from my brother that has the brass plug and bushing. Just made a wrong assumption they all had fill plugs in the butt.

    Thanks 58 cal. but I’ve already ordered the parts to upgrade the horn. I’ll do more research before my next purchase. Just made sense to me that there would be a larger plug in the butt of the horn for filling than trying to fill it through the tiny opening where the ebony plug goes.

    I think you’re right. For what I paid I expected one. Now I’ll have to order the large brass plug and bushing and cut the finial off the butt plug!

    Recently purchased a large white powder horn from Track of the Wolf. Cannot get the fill cap off for the life of me. Any suggestions ? Vise grips wouldn’t even budge it!
