    I've been told (but haven't tested) the closest equivalents to Crisco in Australia is Copha which is vegetable-based or lard which is animal-based.

    Thanks. That might explain why it came with what the seller described as a sniper site that clamps on the end of the barrel. It also has a triple folding leaf at the rear which should help.
