.45 caliber RB enough for deer?

No lectures necessary....however an animal that is hit and unable to be recovered, is high % misplaced shot not hitting vitals. Don't beat yourself on this, you have a .54 that does the job. BTW: the creatures of the wilderness have to eat to, so the animal wasn't wasted, it just hurts to see it...

    Lead Question for Californians/Others

In Cal. you grab the barrel and use it as a club🤣. Just yankin' yer chain. Colorado we still use lead balls. However, Cal. imports are screwing up this state too. Cal. just about everything on earth cause cancer, so it is better to check with wildlife division. BTW: Any question asked(mostly) is...

In those days it was like JFK said, "ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for your Country"!! Unlike todays libs that want everything for nothing, and have no morals or work ethics, or actually, no ethics of any kind.

I'm very proud to say that I am also a redneck, in the same category as you. And you are definitely correct in saying that it is people like us that will either save this Country or go down fighting, but never on our knees! Thank you for a very well stated comment. :thumb: 🇺🇸Forever!

They did the same thing in Colorado, Ohio, PA., IL., basically half the Country.....it's going to get ugly.

.45 caliber RB enough for deer?

I could eat kielbasa and pierogi's every day. That is an excellent tasting sausage. 🙂

Very well spoken my friend. You and I may differ on rednecks, but we agree on what really counts in this world! Even though I never met you, I'll consider you always a friend, as friends can differ and still be friends. Here is just one example: Bumbling Biden cuts funds to several Florida...

Wrong......completely. Rednecks are not all drunks or uneducated. That's like saying all blacks are welfare recipients. There is good and bad in all races....but ignorant people are the ones that put labels on them! Glad you sobered up, now get educated.

.45 caliber RB enough for deer?

Yes, a .45 RB is plenty to kill a deer with a well placed shot. A well placed shot with a .22 will do the job. That being said, distance is also a factor.
  17. M

    fire hazard?

You know, with all those regulations and all, they could very well just ban muzzleloaders as dangerous fire starters and ban them....I wonder if those fools will try to ban lightening strikes🤪🤣

There are a number of rendezvous in the Illinois area. Most have what they call the "primitive" camp, and the "tin" camp. If you're looking for more rendezvous in the state, go to talkingbear.com
